Journey through some of the country’s unique areas with us and discover which one might be the best fit for your next vacation.
Where to Start?
Montego Bay is the resort city set by the sea. Some call it Mo Bay for short. This is the area most known to visitors looking for a great all-inclusive resort with the white sandy beach or a great golf course. You can enjoy great history when you visit the Rose Hall Great House where infamous Annie Palmer lived to torture her husbands and slaves, Johnny Cash fans can visit his home at Cinnamon Hill Great House, and swing by Sam Sharpe Square to see the statue of the man that helped lead the Christmas Rebellion of 1831 to fight for slaves’ freedom. For those that are looking for a simple, relaxing way to connect with nature, a ride down the Martha Brae River on a guided bamboo raft may be the perfect activity.

Our agency was fortunate enough to enjoy our annual training retreat in Ocho Rios at the beautiful Moon Palace Jamaica all-inclusive resort. During our time there, our agents got to experience the amazing culture of Jamaica through visiting a local school, street markets, and with a private cooking class with chefs from the resort.
Our annual agency retreat allowed us to collaborate and connect on building our businesses while also experiencing Jamaica to become better travel advisors for YOU! Thank you to all of you who book your vacations with Castle Explorers and support our amazing travel advisors while they do what they love!

Where do you want to go?
Ocho Rios is where most of the adventure options are located between the Caribbean Sea and the Blue Mountains. The active traveler can zipline or bobsled down Mystic Mountain. The must-do activity in Ocho Rios is to climb the famous Dunn’s River Falls. Form a human chain to help each other up the falls before you relax for the afternoon.
Food Choices
Jamaican cuisine is an exotic amalgamation, influenced by cultures from all four corners of the globe. With the island having such a colorful history, rich heritage and diversity of influence, it’s not surprising that the food is equally as unique, fascinating and appealing.
The best way to describe food in Jamaica is a fusion of cuisines. When immigrants – mainly the Spanish, West African, English, Portuguese, French, Dutch, Chinese and East Indians – arrived in Jamaica, they combined their home-grown herbs, spices and ingredients with the local fresh produce, meat, fish and seafood to create a wealth of new and exotic dishes, many of which are still cooked on the island to this day.
